GOP internal politics we seem to have a principle of survival of the wrongest

Perhaps a consequence of not believing evolution?

Kite Sailing

Way cool videos of Kite Sailing. There’s an unbelivable one of someone jumping over a Pier.

One believes a woman’s right to choose should be protected for future generations; one does not. That difference, given the likelihood of Supreme Court vacancies, weighs heavily on my decision.

One recognizes marriage equality as consistent with America’s march of freedom; one does not. I want our president to be on the right side of history.

One sees climate change as an urgent problem that threatens our planet; one does not. I want our president to place scientific evidence and risk management above electoral politics.

The Mon, 11am forecast. Winds look a little stronger but rain a little less. The subway was shutdown last night. I went into work this morning (by taxi) and intended to work until 2 or 4 but the wind&rain increased fast enough I opted to come home at noon (via taxi). The Holland tunnel and Battery tunnel are closing at 2pm. They’ve lowered the speed limit on bridges into/out-of Manhattan which is preparatory to closing them when the wind gets above 60mph.
